On September 26-28, 2017, the "ProSF2017 International Surface Finishing Exhibition & 2017 China Surface Engineering Industry Annual Conference " was held in Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing. The conference of this year themed "Intelligent Manufacturing and Green Manufacturing Oriented Surface Engineering Technology" aims to exploring new green intelligence mode and focusing on the transformation and upgrading of the surface engineering industry. As the executive director of China Thermal Spraying Association, president Jia Peng of UCT delivered a speech entitled "The Latest Applications of Thermal Spraying Technology in the High-Tech Fields" at the invitation of the Thermal Spraying Association, a branch of China Surface Engineering Association, which became the highlight of this conference and was highly appreciated by the leaders presented.
The speech delivered by Jia Peng on the “The Latest Applications of Thermal Spraying Technology in the High-Tech Fields ", enumerates the applications of thermal spray in the fields such as aviation, aerospace, semiconductor, panel display, LED lights, additive manufacturing, new energy vehicles, solar energy, fuel cell power generation, high-speed train etc. which shows the development prospect and direction of the thermal spray technology in the upcoming 10 to 20 years, while as a matter of fact, UCT’s many coating technologies have already been applied in these areas.
